Mr. Fantastic has the ability to stretch all parts of his body; the Invisible Woman can become invisible and create force fields; The Human Torch gains the ability to control fire, including covering his own body with flame; and The Thing is a super-strong rock creature. Unknown to them, the owner of the space station is also mutating, turning into organic metal capable of absorbing and manipulating electrical energy. As a result of the disastrous expedition, Victor Von Doom's company is going bankrupt and he is losing public stature. Blaming the expedition for his misfortunes, Victor swears revenge as Dr. Doom, and the Fantastic Four must foil his evil plans while learning to master their new abilities.
