Sleeping murder: When Giles and Gwenda Reed move into their dream house in a seaside resort Gwenda is haunted by the vision of a body in the hall. Miss Marple uses her keen intuition to solve the murder of Gwenda's stepmother that took place in the house while Gwenda was living there during her childhood. 4:50 from Paddington: On her way to visit Miss Marple, Elspeth McGillicuddy glimpses a man strangling a woman on a passing train. Police fail to turn up a body and Miss McGillicuddy is dismissed as a eldery lady with an overactive imagination. Miss Marple solves the case which leads her to Rutherford Hall and Luther Crackenthorpe, the patriarch of a family with a dark past.
