In a fantasy world of anthropomorphic rabbits, an unnamed bard entertains his young companion Rue with the story of Podkin, who, after finding a new Gift, is able to jump in and out of shadows and, with his siblings Paz and Pook, leads a mission to acquire the hammer of Applecross which will help them defeat the Gorm rampaging across the Five Realms.
