Dr. Peter Blood is arrested by the King's men for treating a wounded rebel. As punishment, he is sent as a slave to the English colony of Port Royal, where he is bought by the beautiful daughter of a plantation owner. He escapes and becomes a notorious pirate who takes his revenge on injustice and the corrupt government that condemned him.
